PRIMLAND IN CHILE
Primland set up a subsidiary in Chile from 1998. A factory receives, packages and ships the fruit. This investment, in both human resources and infrastructure, enables Primland to provide its customers with off-season fruit. The kiwis are harvested between the beginning of April and the middle of May. This subsidiary company has 200 hectares of orchards, with some thirty producers located between Rancagua and Linares to the south of Santiago.
Primland Chile markets approximately 4,000 tonnes of Hayward kiwis every year.
In recognition of its contribution to the international influence of its host country, Primland Chile has been accredited by the Foundation for the Image of Chile. This logo is therefore affixed to all its packaging.
PRIMLAND IN THE UKRAINE
Primland has been producing kiwis in the Ukraine since 2012, working in partnership with local producers dedicated exclusively to growing Nergi®. A collaborator, of duel French and Ukrainian culture, lives on the site throughout the year. This undertaking is justified by the desire to bring products closer to consumers in Eastern Europe.
Primland marketed the first Nergi® grown in the Ukraine in 2016.
PRIMLAND IN PORTUGAL
Primland has had a subsidiary in Portugal since August 2015. Approximately 50 hectares are thus reserved for growing Nergi®, and also green and yellow kiwis. Our station oversees the storage, transport and sales operations for the fruit provided by local producers.
PRIMLAND IN SPAIN
Primland installed a Hayward kiwi orchard in the Asturias in 2016, since this is a particularly favourable soil for this crop.
PRMLAND IN CANADA
In 2017, PRIMLAND wished to develop its capacity to supply the Canadian market with NERGI and OSCAR kiwis by working more closely with the final distributors, in contact with consumers. In fact, PRIMLAND CANADA allows the group to promote its products at the points of sale and in the local media, including social networks.
